The SEC of Thailand is a government agency and is an independent public agency established under the Securities and Exchange Act of 1992 B.E. 2535.
Institutional History:
The Securities and Exchange Commission of Thailand (SEC) was established in 1992 to regulate the capital market in Thailand. After 20 years of development, the SEC has been keeping up with the domestic economic and social environment and adapting to international standards. At present, there are five major laws that continue to give the SEC more rights and responsibilities.
Goal:
Strive to become a trustworthy organization that benefits the people and the people, and cooperates with shareholders to build a sustainable and healthy development of the capital market.

The Thai SEC does not regulate foreign exchange, but complaints against regulated financial companies (insurance companies, securities companies) can be submitted to the Thai SEC. The process is:
When you are not satisfied with your investment, you can file a complaint with the following 3 steps:
Step 1: Contact the financial company directly
When you have a complaint, the best way is to contact the financial company directly to help resolve it.
Step 2: If you are not satisfied with the processing results of the financial company, you can file a complaint with the Thai SEC
There are 4 ways to complain:
(1) File a complaint with the SEC by telephone.

(2) Submit a complaint to the SEC by mail.
