National Reserve Bank of Tonga, the central bank of Tonga

The National Reserve Bank of Tonga is the central bank of Tonga. The Central Bank of Tonga is responsible for issuing and supplying local currency, managing foreign reserves, maintaining currency stability and promoting economic development. The Bank of Tonga also advises the Ministry of Finance on banking and monetary matters, is the main correspondent bank and fiscal agent for the Tongan government, and is responsible for licensing and supervising financial institutions.
The Kingdom of Tonga belongs to Oceania and is located in the western South Pacific. It is an island country composed of 173 islands. The currency used is Pa'anga, code TOP.
