The Central Bank of Armenia is a unified, centralized system consisting of the headquarters and its regional branches. The bank is headquartered in Yerevan. The basic objective of the Central Bank is to ensure price stability in the Republic of Armenia. In order to achieve its basic goals, the Central Bank of Armenia formulates, approves and implements monetary policies, regulating currency circulation and economic credit.
Armenia is a republic located in the Transcaucasus region on the border between Asia and Europe, between the Black Sea and the Caspian Sea. The currency used is Armenian Dram, code AMD.
