The Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan is a centrally controlled system. To perform its duties, the Central Bank of Uzbekistan has established corresponding units and institutions, which work in accordance with the rules and regulations confirmed by the Council of the Central Bank of Uzbekistan. The structure and physical organization of the Central Bank of Uzbekistan are determined by the Central Bank Law. The highest body of the Central Bank of Uzbekistan is the Central Bank Council. The council consists of 11 members, and the president is also the chairman. The Board of Governors of the Central Bank of Uzbekistan has enormous powers as it is responsible for determining and supervising the fundamental direction of monetary policy and the development of the banking system.
The Republic of Uzbekistan is a landlocked country located in Central Asia. Its currency is Uzbekistani Sum, code UZS.
